Inbox Sweep

Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of Inbox Sweep at inboxsweeper.netlify.app, an independent project made and run by one developer ("we", "us"). By using Inbox Sweep you agree to them. Questions: syedwajahatali1990@gmail.com.

What Inbox Sweep is

Inbox Sweep is a tool that helps you clean up your own Gmail account: it groups senders, helps you unsubscribe and block senders, finds large and old emails, clears spam, and permanently deletes emails you choose. It runs in your web browser and works only on the Gmail account you connect.

Your account and permission

Deleting emails is permanent

Emails you delete with Inbox Sweep are permanently deleted from your Gmail account. They skip Gmail's Trash and cannot be recovered by you, by us or by Google. Before every deletion, Inbox Sweep shows you how many emails will be deleted and asks you to confirm. You are responsible for checking what you delete. Protected contacts, size estimates and sender groupings are there to help you, but they may not be complete or exact.

Unsubscribing and blocking

Unsubscribing relies on the method each sender provides. We cannot guarantee that every sender will honour an unsubscribe request, or how quickly. Blocking creates a filter in your Gmail settings; it stays there until you remove it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Inbox Sweep to access accounts that aren't yours, to interfere with the service or Google's systems, or for anything unlawful.

No warranty

Inbox Sweep is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee that it will be available at all times, free of errors, or suitable for a particular purpose. Gmail's own limits, such as how many emails can be checked per minute, may affect how fast it works.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the loss of emails you chose to delete. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and ending the service

We may update Inbox Sweep and these terms. If we make significant changes to the terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. We may stop offering Inbox Sweep at any time; because your data is stored in your own browser and Gmail account, you will not lose access to your emails if we do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. If you use Inbox Sweep as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
